Well a pretty much unexpected weekend. i ended up gong down to the big smoke for a new car. after my old one failed its mot. Turns out that it also has quite a big list of things that will need doing shortly. Hopefully with it been fully taxed and mot'd i should be able to sell it and not loose to much. I travelled down to London on Friday night, i managed to get a bed for the night in one of the many kings cross hotels which was good and pretty cheap compared to how much i thought it was going to be. I ended up getting a 2nd hand Audi but its pretty new and low miles so should be good for a couple of years. It was really nice to drive it back up home and it really puts the old car to shame on the drive.
I've also booked the same london bed and breakfast for the beginning of February so that i can do a bit more sight seeing as i haven't really been to London before, and it looked like a good opportunity to get down whilst its not full of tourists.
