Nearly Christmas

Well its nearly Christmas and I'm pretty much looking forward to the time off. My mate came round to get his percolator bong last night which I'm kind of glad that its out of the way as i didn't want it getting damaged over the festive period.

I finish on the Friday and most of work are heading out to the pub straight after work which will be fun, i think there are some guys going from the other units on the B park. No doubt that its going to be a late night.

One of the lads is getting back from holiday and he's meant to have got me some boxes of rolling papers and Golden Virginia.

Random Package

I was sat around this morning when the postman came, although that sounds completely normal i got a package that i didn't recognise and since i haven't ordered from eBay i was pretty surprised when i opened it it was a packet of cannabis seeds, I'm guessing that one of my mates has gone over to Amsterdam and he need to post them back home instead of trying to bring them back in hand luggage. A rather ingenious idea.

I can remember last year when he me a percolator bong i ended up waiting in all day for that to be delivered, what a pain in the bum. He still owes me a favour too.

Bad Weather

I cant believe how bad the weathers been recently, i know its winter and the weather isn't meant to be great and sunny. But I'm sick of the rain get wet going home and i get wet going to work its a complete nightmare.

My jacket does keep me dry but my jeans are usually soaked and take ages to dry.

The wind is meant to be getting really strong tonight so it will be interesting to see if the trampoline takes off tonight. I'm tempted to take the canvas off, but if i take it off then I'm not putting it back on till summer. knowing my luck I'll take it off and i won't be half as windy as they reckon

Money Saving

So after spending last week in London, i spent this week at home hoping to not spend much money. But i ended up going on the Internet and getting some new clothes i tried to find stuff which was on offer like gio goi and voi, hopefully my new bits and bobs of clothing should be coming in the next few days.

Its just started to snow here as i type, its pretty exciting as it snowed this time last year but it stayed with us for months and caused a list of problems for everyone in the country. i think it was still hear in February 2011.

Hopefully people will be more prepared for it this year even if it doesn't come.

Fail

Well the cars failed its mot today which is bit of a pain in the arse to be honest as i was expecting it to sail through. It failed on a snapped suspension spring apparently it was just the end which has snapped of but its still a fail :(. I'd given it a check over on Sunday stuff like tyres lights, fluids and brakes and they where all OK. so that's going to be around £200 including the cost of the MOT to get it sorted out.

Modern cars just don't seem as strong as older cars do, I'm guessing that stuff like alloy wheels are braking and more prone to flatting because they alloy has been recycled numerous times and then gets made back into a wheel or the quality isn't as good as it would of been back in the Day when alloys weren't a common item on cars.

Mental

Well the night out was pretty mental we ended up going for an indian meal which was really nice and hit the spot, it was one of the best i've had in years. Out side they had a hookah bar but i opted to use one of the few bongs that they had there. Pete was trying to tell us how he's got hundred of glass bongs at home and how he smokes all the time, from there we headed into town which turned out in to bit of an all nighter but i don't really do it that often and still manged to show a few of them how to drink.

i spent most of sunday recovering but at least i had a GP race to watch whilst i was cuddled up on the sofa with my duvet, feeling sorry for myself.

Good films

Like i said in my lasty post about good films been on the alternate channels like itv 2 and stuff, but for the past few weeks i've seen The Day After Tommorrow and Flight Of The Phoenix been played on Film4, they are 2 good films which i can watch over and over again. i've recently foiund my self watching less and less of the top 4 channels.

It was sad news about Jimmy Savell departing us, but it looks like Leeds Council are planning some sort of memorial to the Leeds Lad, which would be really nice.

I've just purchased a pair of police jeans from an online retailer so hoping to get those for the weekend, so that i can wear them with the lads. Some of the lads have been away for a week or so doing some jobs down south, they work for a garden rooms company and they are the installers, so they can be a week or so at a time so i dont get to seem them during the week.

Strange Week

The wekend was bit of a strange one really it was pretty quiet for me as i couldnt be fussed going out into town with a few mates which we normally do every week for a catch up.

Instead i stayed in and watched Leathal Weapon 3 and Rocky on ITV 4, i've noticed recently that some of the extra channels ie not the main 4, so stuff like itv 3 and 4 are showing some great films although they are on slightly later in the evening.

I think i'll be out this wekend with the lads as i'll have something to talk about since i missed out last week. I know that one of the lads bought a pack of cannabis seeds and is trying to grow a plant just to see if he can without any posh setup, he's going to fail so badly or the rozzers will be round quick sharpe.

Work Experience Kids

Well we've had a work experience kid this week, and in honesty he's needed constant supervising. Everything he's done I've had to re do, the best bit is he thinks that hes really clever and he's proper cocky about everything. so on Friday me and the lads have bit of a surprise in store for him. We are going to glue his work boots to the floor.

i don't think we'll be getting anymore work experience kids for a while as its really knocked my productivity down since I've been having to double check everything he's been doing.
